Modena, a land of motors, Opera singers, and good food: a stroll riding a Segway PT allows you to taste the atmosphere of this city located in the heart of Emilia, among arcades and ancient churches, squares and markets.

Meeting point -departure and end of the ride- in the front square of Modena Railway Station, piazza Dante Alighieri -GPS 44°39’13.8″N 10°55’52.0″E-, where you can gain familiarity with your Segway PT vehicle and start your tour to discover the city.

A look at the famed Ferrari Museum will immerse you into the great stories of the Motor Valley. You will see the baroque Palazzo Ducale, now home to the prestigious Military Academy, where we will talk about the Este Duchy.

You will then arrive to Piazza Grande, where the most significant monuments are gathered: you will be fascinated by the Cathedral, made by the great architect Lanfranco and the master sculptor Wiligelmo, one of the greatest masterpieces of the European Romanesque. Here you will see the magnificent bell tower named Ghirlandina.

You will go for a ride in the open space of Foro Boario, the stage for Pavarotti’s concerts, where you will see the remains of the old Roman city. From here we return to the Meeting Point.

It will always be possible to ask a stop to taste typical food (sweet, salty …).
